Tuomala, the solo project of Pedro S. Tuomala, a Menorcan musician with a long and distinguished career, returns to Barcelona. Presenting his EP on cassette, “9 AM – 10 AM,” with his full band, he’ll be revisiting tracks from his first LP, “No Em Veus Brillar De Nou?” and letting himself be carried away by spontaneous improvisations. Leonmanso arrives from Ciutadella de Menorca to present his new album, “Monstre Final.” Music made to take root in your heart, reaching deep within you and into your mind. The influences are clear: Bob Dylan, Steve Earle, Tom Waits, Tom Petty, Pearl Jam, Albert Pla, Ben Harper… All filtered through the lens of the island of Menorca and its customs, speaking of life, death, and all those things that happen when we exist and want to share them with the world.
