PLEASE celebrate the 50th anniversary of the most important Irish band in the history of rock with a spectacular concert that will not leave you indifferent and where there will be no shortage of classics from their early years such as I Will Follow, New Year’s Day, Pride, Sunday Bloody Sunday, Bad and the songs that have made them legends such as Where The Streets Have No Name, With Or Without You, One or Beautiful Day among many others. Get ready to experience a unique show that marks the difference between tributes in our country.
Pioneers of the tribute movement along with Abbey Road and Smoking Stones, Please U2 have been an Official Tribute Band since 1999, selected by the original band’s own record company to promote the albums Hits 90-2000 (2002) and How To Dismantle An Atomic Bomb (2004) through tours of the best venues in the country in the absence of the Irish. Nominated for the ARC Awards on several occasions in the category of Best Tribute Band and Cover Group, Please is a tribute made with heart that manages to shock and excite the most skeptical audience, thanks to an imposing staging, impeccable musicians and anthems that are the flag of several generations. They have performed at the most influential festivals such as Guitar Bcn, Cruïlla, Arts d’Estiu Pineda de Mar-Santa Susanna, as well as in the most fashionable venues: Apolo, Razzmatazz, Luz de Gas, La Sala Movistar Arena, etc.
El Correu de Vizcaya confused them with U2 themselves using a photo of them to illustrate an article about the U2 360º tour when they visited San Sebastian in 2010. El Periódico de Catalunya defined them with the headline “la marca blanca d’U2 és pota negra” in an article about the after parties of the I+E Tour in 2015 that the band performed at the Hard Rock in Barcelona. After more than 25 years of a career dedicated to Bono, The Edge, Adam Clayton and Larry Mullen Jr. Please are still as in love with them as they were on day one. A life dedicated to U2.
