Californicators

Californicators is a Red Hot Chili Peppers tribute band formed in Barcelona by four renowned musicians on the national scene. They are:

Niko Costello (vocals): Currently in ex-Kakkmadafakka’s Chet Jones’ band. During 2015 he toured Spain with Buddy & The Weisers (Budweiser’s official band). He has his own one-man show “The Man of 1000 Voices”. He was a finalist in Tu Sí Que Vals and is currently the voice of Chips Ahoy.

Miki Santamaría (bass): he is the bassist of Doctor Prats and has done the last Sopa de Cabra tour. In 2016 he toured Australia, Japan and England with the Australian company Burn The Floor. He has worked in the USA with the musical Rock of Ages in 2013 and 2014 and has worked with internationally recognized musicians such as Phred Brown (guitarist and musical director of Bruno Mars) or Abraham Laboriel (Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson, etc). He has a YouTube channel with millions of views www.youtube.com/mikigroove. It is sponsored by Yamaha, EBS, Mono, Ernie Ball and Olympus.

David Muñoz “Gnaposs” (guitar): guitarist for Jarabe de Palo, Els Pets and Germans de Rocco, among others. He has five solo albums and you can see them online at Escuela de Guitarristas. He is an endorser of Framus Guitars.

Danny Navarro (drums): member of the renowned cover band Hotel Cochambre. Former Buenafuente battery, Traffic, among others. Incredibly, he is a distant cousin of former RHCP and Jane’s Addiction guitarist Dave Navarro. He is an endorser of DW, PDP and Zildjian.

Californicators is a project born in January 2008 in the city of Barcelona. Over the years they have performed at many stages such as the 2012 Vinya Rock festival, Festes del Pilar “Interpenyes”, Festes del Tura (Olot), Cosmic Children Festival, Fender & Friends Live, etc.

The Californicators set is over an hour and a half long and spans the entire history of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, including all the songs that have made the Californian band famous.

A live show that will not leave you indifferent, full of musical quality, energy, humor and large doses of madness.
